There are lots of options for schooling in Trenton, and the amount of information on schools can be overwhelming. Your child’s education is a decision only you can make; a decision that should be well-researched and examined. Here we offer some very basic information to get you started.    

Trenton is home to many public schools, charter schools, private schools and parochial schools. The Diocese of Trenton of the Catholic Church runs several schools in Mercer County. It is also very common for Trenton children to go to school in the surrounding area. Princeton is home to many excellent schools, and some families choose to send their children to schools in the Princeton area. Princeton is home to some of the country’s elite private schools including the Lawrenceville School and Princeton Day School.
