Capital Rainbowfest Every September since 2002, Mill Hill has played host to "Capital Rainbowfest", the premiere NJ Gay Pride event. Approximately 2,000 attendees descend on Mill Hill Park, which is filled with vendors, exhibitors, food, fun and displays of interest to the gay, lesbian, transgendered, bisexual and intersexed (GLTBI) communities of New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania. |

This year's edition (Rainbowfest VI) will be held on September 16, 2007. A $5 donation is requested for admission. Capital Rainbowfest VI will feature live music and entertainment, a beer garden, a street festival, a wide variety of food and drink, a kidspace activity area, dozens of merchants and artisans, many business services and over 20 community organizations. Central Jersey's largest display of the NAMES Project AIDS Memorial Quilt will also be available for viewing. Rainbowfest is organized by Rainbowfest, Inc., a 501(c)3 charity located in Trenton. The Capital Rainbowfest planning meetings take place every second and fourth Wednesdays at the offices of the Trenton Gay Lesbian Civic Association, located at 986 S. Broad St., Trenton.
