The Mill Hill Garden Tour Now in its 19th year, the Mill Hill Garden Tour features some of the region’s best examples of urban and small space gardening. This year's tour will take place on Saturday, June 12, 2010, from 12-5 p.m., rain or shine. You can buy tickets online! This year’s theme is “Summer in the City.” The tour will showcase Mill Hill residents’ private entertaining spaces and highlight the neighborhood and the city of Trenton. The tour also will include an "Artist's Alley," featuring a variety of artistic creations. The nearby 1719 William Trent House, one of the finest early Georgian-style houses in the Delaware Valley and now a city-owned museum, will be open for tours. Garden Tour ticket holders can tour the Trent House for free (a $4 value) during Garden Tour hours, and are invited to visit the grounds, which include a colonial-era kitchen garden. |
